1901 Census for Cambridgeshire & the Isle of Ely - Facts |
As we are all aware the 1901 Census is available to us all in the next couple of years. From the Census statistics we can glean a little of the information that is available. What you may not be aware of is the fact that for the first time ever the Census information was made available for 1901 on the Internet as part of the Government's policy to make information more readily available.
The following information provides some statistics for the 1901 Census for Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Ely which combined form the Ancient County. One must wonder about the Strays information that should be available given that nearly 16,000 people migrated from the County.
