Cambridge - Cambridgeshire Boer War Memorial
This memorial is a bronze plaque on the exterior of the east end of Great St Mary's church in Cambridge, facing the Market Square. General, Lord Methuen on June 12th, 1905, unveiled the memorial. There is a separate memorial for the Isle of Ely in Ely Cathedral.
In
memory of Cambridgeshire men and their comrades of the
Suffolk Regiment who died gallantly defending their country
in the South African War 1899 - 1902.
Ely Cathedral - Isle of Ely Boer War Memorial
This brass plaque is on the south wall of the nave of Ely Cathedral.
To
